Neuro-divergent Assessments

Neurodivergent assessments are comprehensive evaluations designed to identify and understand differences in thinking, learning, and processing information. These neuro-psychological assessments help diagnose Autism and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) providing valuable insights into an individual’s strengths and challenges. By gaining a clearer picture of cognitive and behavioral patterns, we can offer tailored support, strategies, and recommendations to enhance well-being and daily functioning. Our goal is to empower individuals with a deeper self-understanding and the tools they need to thrive.

Our ADHD assessment incorporates a multi-method approach to ensure a comprehensive understanding of each individual. This includes:

  • Psychometric Evaluation: Utilizing standardized testing with input from both parents and teachers to obtain objective, multi-source ratings.
  • Comprehensive Neurodevelopmental History: Gathering a full developmental background that includes exploration of trauma and attachment experiences.
  • Clinical Interviews: Conducting detailed interviews with the child and parents—or with adult clients and their partners/parents—to assess core symptoms over time.
  • Structured Observation & Standardized Testing: Employing systematic observations and tools such as the Qb Check to objectively evaluate behavioral and attentional challenges.
  • Educational Data Collection: Obtaining relevant information from schools or educational settings to understand the individual’s academic and social performance.
  • Evaluation of Comorbidities: Assessing for additional conditions, such as anxiety or depression, to support an accurate differential diagnosis.

This thorough process ensures that every aspect of the individual’s presentation is carefully evaluated, enabling the development of tailored support strategies.

Following the assessment, the psychologist will determine whether an ADHD diagnosis is appropriate. The results are shared with the individual and their family, along with a comprehensive report that can be used to access medical intervention through the NHS or private providers.

Assessments can be conducted in person or online, though in-person evaluations are preferred to allow for direct observations. The process typically involves 2-3 hours of assessment, along with the collection of forms and discussions with the individual’s school. A 30-minute follow-up session is also included. Children are given the flexibility to take breaks as needed, and the assessment can be completed over multiple sessions if required.

We charge a flat fee of £1200 for an ADHD Assessment.

Autism Assessments

Our autism assessment is a comprehensive, individualized process designed to understand each person’s unique profile. Typically, the assessment includes:

  • Developmental & Medical History Review: We gather detailed background information from caregivers, educators, and previous medical records to understand early developmental milestones and current challenges.
  • Clinical Interviews & Observations: Through structured interviews and direct observations in various settings, our team evaluates social communication, behavior, and interaction patterns.
  • Standardized Assessments: We utilize evidence-based tools and tests that measure language skills, cognitive abilities, and adaptive behaviors to provide a clear, objective view of strengths and areas for support.
  • Multidisciplinary Evaluation: Our assessment is conducted by a team of specialists—including psychologists, speech-language therapists, and occupational therapists—to ensure a holistic understanding of the individual’s needs.
  • Feedback & Recommendations: After synthesizing the findings, we provide a detailed report along with personalized recommendations and guidance for interventions, therapies, and additional support services.

This thorough process not only helps in making an accurate diagnosis but also lays the groundwork for a tailored support plan that promotes growth, learning, and well-being.

Assessments can be conducted in person or online, though in-person evaluations are preferred to allow for direct observations. The process typically involves 4 hours of assessment, along with the collection of forms and discussions with the individual’s school. A 30-minute follow-up session is also included.

We charge a flat fee of £1900 Autism Assessment. This includes the fee for MDT discussion between specialist therapists.
